dc.description.abstractLa lectura de los textos del mediático escritor Yuval Noha Harari produce una serie de sentimientos enfrentados: van de la admiración a la perplejidad. Admiración por su gran capacidad de síntesis, neologismos muy logrados, aportación de ideas sugerentes y acertadas, tanto respecto al pasado como a nuestro futuro cercano, etc. Pero también perplejidad por la presencia de numerosas contradicciones, que no acierto a dilucidar si son conscientes y provocativas, o tan sólo expresión de un modo confuso diferente de entender los problemas. Eso ocurre de forma especial cuando el intelectual israelí reflexiona sobre la libertad humana, uno de sus temas recurrentes, que está presente de forma especial en sus trabajos últimos, así como en sus diversas entrevistas a los medios de comunicación.es
dc.description.abstractReading the texts of the influential writer Yuval Noha Harari produces a series of very opposing feelings that go from admiration to perplexity. Admiration for his great capacity for synthesis, very successful neologisms, the contribution of suggestive and accurate ideas, both with respect to the past and to our near future, etc. But, also, perplexity for the presence of numerous contradictions, which I am unable to elucidate if they are conscious and provocative, or just the expression of a different and confusing way of understanding the problems. This happens especially when the Israeli intellectual reflects on human freedom, one of his recurring themes, which is present in a special way in his latest works, as well as in his various interviews with the media.en
