Resumen
En el siguiente trabajo se presentan el símbolo, la simbología y el símbolo como herramienta educativa. Se hablará acerca del símbolo y sus diferentes aplicaciones, en distintos ámbitos de intervención, tales como el Psicodrama, la Psicología o en el ámbito judicial. Se desarrollará un trabajo observacional acerca del Hospital de Día Manuene y sobre el uso del símbolo como herramienta educativa a la hora de llevar a cabo las intervenciones por parte de los/las educadores/as sociales; y, por último, concluyendo con diferentes propuestas sobre la utilidad de la herramienta del símbolo en el área de la Educación Social.
In the following work the symbol and the symbolism, are presented as an educational tool. The symbol and its different applications will be discussed, as for example, in Psychodrama, in Psychology or in the judicial field. This work, will be developed by observations about the Manuene Day Hospital, and about the place of the symbol as an educational tool when carrying out the interventions by the social educators that make up the professional team; and, finally, concluding with different proposals about the usefulness of the symbol tool in the area of Social Education.
