Resumen
El alumnado con altas capacidades intelectuales (ACI) enfrenta desafíos significativos en el entorno educativo que exige soluciones personalizadas. La Educación Musical (EM), por su parte, resulta una estrategia integral que promueve el desarrollo cognitivo, social y emocional del alumnado. Este trabajo propone una revisión sistemática, siguiendo la declaración PRISMA, para analizar los beneficios de la EM en el desarrollo del alumnado con ACI. Los criterios de inclusión recogen (1) intervenciones en EM (2)que promueven el desarrollo cognitivo, intelectual, personal, emocional, el bienestar y el rendimiento académico (3) del alumnado con ACI. Se hallaron un total de 23 artículos, que se analizaron a través de Atlas.Ti (versión 9.02). El estudio ha constatado que la EM es una herramienta eficaz que modula la expresión de la alta capacidad y presenta múltiples beneficios. Por tanto, se ha de continuar profundizando en la EM como oportunidad educativa para el alumnado con ACI, en cuanto que fomenta una educación de calidad, inclusiva y equitativa que responde a sus necesidades. También se abre paso la necesidad de promover el desarrollo profesional docente en el ámbito musical para maximizar el aprendizaje y crecimiento integral del alumnado con ACI.
Gifted students face significant challenges in the educational environment, which requires personalized solutions. Music Education (ME), on the other hand, is an effective integral strategy that promotes the cognitive, social and emotional development of students. This paper proposes a systematic review, following the PRISMA statement, to analyze the benefits of ME in the development of gifted students. The inclusion criteria include (1) interventions in ME, (2) that promotes cognitive, intellectual, personal, and emotional development, well-being and academic performance, (3) of gifted students. A total of 23 articles were found and analyzed using Atlas.Ti (version 9.02). The study found that ME is an effective tool that modulates the expression of high ability and benefits students. Therefore, ME should continue to be explored in depth as an educational opportunity for gifted students, as it promotes quality, inclusive and equitable education that responds to their needs. There is also a need to promote theprofessional development of teachers in the musical field in order to maximize the learning and integral growth of gifted students
