Resumen
La igualdad de género es reconocida como un derecho humano fundamental con importantes consecuencias socioeconómicas, por lo que sigue siendo urgente adoptar medidas e iniciativas al respecto y la vía cooperativa puede marcar alguna diferencia en este sentido. por su especial idiosincrasia. En el presente artículo abordaremos esa especificidad, analizando las fortalezas y debilidades del modelo cooperativo frente a la igualdad de género, su especial tratamiento en la normativa autonómica y, en especial, las novedades introducidas en este ámbito por la Ley 11/2019, de Cooperativas de Euskadi. Gender equality is recognized as a fundamental human right with important socioeconomic consequences, so it is still urgent to adopt measures and initiatives in this respect, and the cooperative way can make a difference in this sense, due to its special idiosyncrasy.
