Resumen
Coincidiendo con la celebración del 50 aniversario de la clausura del Concilio Vaticano II, esta investigación pretende acercarse a este acontecimiento e indagar en él para deducir lo que la Iglesia dice sobre la educación. Con tal fin, se realiza un análisis de contenido de los documentos conciliares aprobados en las Asambleas generales. En el desarrollo de la metodología de análisis de contenido se ha partido de la Declaración conciliar que explícitamente se refiere a la importancia de la Educación (Gravissimum Educationis) y, a partir de ahí, se ha comprobado si esa concepción educativa permanece en el resto de documentos conciliares. La investigación concluye confirmando que hay un determinado planteamiento educativo que se deduce del análisis de los Documentos del Concilio, resaltándose la importancia de la persona como el sustento y justificación de la tarea educativa de la Iglesia.
When we are celebrating the closing of the 2nd Vatican Council, this research is based on this important event and intends to find out what the Church says about education. In this sense we will analyze the content of the documents approved by the General Assembly. In order to develop a content analysis methodology we have started with the Council Declaration, as it refers directly to the importance of education (Gravissimum Educationis) after it, we have analyzed in which extent such educational conception (vision) remains in the other Council documents. The research confirms that there is an educational vision that may be deducted from the analysis of the Council documents. The analysis also underlines the importance of the human being (person) as the basis of livelihood and the real justification of the educational task that belongs to the Church
