dc.description.abstractPavel Florenski es un exquisito escritor ruso, filósofo, científico y teólogo, nacido en Rusia en 1882 y fusilado por el régimen soviético en 1937, influenciado por L.Tolstoi y colega de M. Bulgakov. Sacerdote ortodoxo casado, es autor de una obra tardíamente conocida, en la que destaca La columna y el fundamento de la fe, y que yo he podido conocer gracias a un amigo italiano, Nunzio, al tiempo que me regala la obra El pensamiento polifónico de P. Florenski2. Me quedo sorprendido por el interés de este pensador efectivamente polifónico, cuya clave musical está en la noción radical de la relación, lo que me recuerda a nuestro Angel Amor Ruibal, pues la relación separa y repara todas las cosas y sus antinomias, si bien en el ruso la relación se constituye específicamente a través del simbolismo, y de un simbolismo de signo platónico-cristiano. En efecto, el platonismo de Florenski es un platonismo encarnado, así pues un idealismo encarnatorio, según el cual hay que conectar la inmanencia fenoménica con la trascendencia nouménica, y viceversa, de acuerdo con la divisa propia de todo humanismo cristiano: salvaguardar lo divino es salvaguardar lo humano.es
dc.description.abstractPavel Florensky was an outstanding Russian writer, philosopher, scientist and theologian. Born in Russia in 1882, he was executed by the soviet regime in 1937. He was influenced by Leo Tolstoy, and was a colleague of Mikhail Bulgakov. A married Orthodox priest, Florensky´s work is only recently becoming widely known, above all The Pillar and Ground of Truth. I discovered his multifaceted thought through an Italian friend, Nunzio, who gave me a copy of The polyphonic thinking of P. Florensky. I was surprised by the interest of this genuinely multi-faceted thinker, whose musical key is in the radical idea of relation, which reminded me of our own Angel Amor Ruibal, because relation separates and repairs all things and their antinomies, even if in Russian relation is constituted through symbolism, and a symbolism of platonic-christian signs. Indeed, Florensky´s Platonism is an incarnated Platonism, and thus an incarnating idealism, according to which phenomenal immanence must be joined to noumenal transcendence, and vice versa, according to the motto proper to all Christian humanism: protecting the divine is protecting the human.en
