Resumen
Urbanisation has become one of the global trends of the current development of humanity, especially in cities marked by a transition connected with societal restructuring. At the beginning of the twentieth century, about 10% of the world’s population were living in urban areas, but this rate expanded to about 54% in 2015, and is predicted to reach 60% in 2030 and 66% by 2050 (World Health Organization & UN-Habitat, 2016).
