Resumen
El presente trabajo es una revisión histórica enmarcada en el siglo XX que estudia los antecedentes de las clasificaciones psiquiátricas actuales, especialmente las realizadas por la Asociación Psiquiátrica Americana (Manual Diagnóstico y Estadísticos de los Trastornos Mentales o “DSM”) y por la Organización Mundial de la Salud, (Clasificación Internacional de Enfermedades o “CIE”). También se realiza una breve revisión de los criterios diagnósticos operativos que, en los últimos años, están utilizando algunas escuelas psicodinámicas. En particular, se resaltan la clasificación desarrollada por psicoanalistas alemanes denominada “OPD” (Diagnóstico Psicodinámico Operacionalizado u Operationalisierte Psychodynamische Diagnostik) y el “PDM”, (Manual de Diagnóstico Psicodinámico o Psychodynamic Diagnostic Manual) americano.
The present paper offers a brief historical review on the background of the current psychiatric classifications within the twentieth century, paying special attention to the Diagnostic Statistical Manual (DSM), by the American Psychiatric Association and the International Classification of Diseases (ICD), by the World Health Organization. In addition, we revise the operational diagnostic criteria that, in recent years, is being used by some psychodynamic groups. In particular, we study the Operationalised Psychodynamic Diagnostics system (OPD) developed by german psychoanalysts and the american Psychodynamic Diagnostic Manual (PDM).
