Resumen
Euskara familiatik kanpo ikasi duten euskaldunek talde estrategikoa osatzen dute normalizazioari begira. Hiztun horiek hiztun aktibo bihurtzen diren ala ez berebiziko garrantzia dauka euskara gero eta gehiago erabili dadin. Artikulu honetan, muda kontzeptua (Pujolar eta beste 2010) erabilita, euskararen hiztun berrien hiztun aktibo bihurtzeko prozesuak aztertzen dira, kasu arrakastatsuak eta ez arrakastatsuak erakutsiz eta prozesuan gertatzen diren gako mesedegarriak eta oztopoak seinalatuz. Datuak, gehien bat kualitatiboak eta Edukiaren Analisiaren bidez aztertuta daudenak, Euskal hiztun berriak: esperientziak, jarrerak eta identitateak izeneko ikerketatik hartu dira. Hizkuntza-politikarako ildo batzuk proposatzen dira, bereziki zein hiztun-profiletan eta ze norabideetan esku hartu beharko litzatekeen.
Basque speakers who have learnt basque outside the home constitute a strategic sector from the viewpoint of language normalization. Whether or not they become active speakers of basque is of crucial importance to increase the use of basque in society. using the concept of muda (pujolar et al 2010), this article examines the processes by which new speakers become active speakers of basque, showing successful and unsuccessful cases and identifying some positive factors for mudas, as well as obstacles. the data, mostly qualitative using Content analysis, belong to the study Euskal hiztun berriak: esperientziak, jarrerak eta identitateak [new speakers of basque: experiences, attitudes and identities]. the article makes some proposals for language policy, especially with regards to the speaker profiles where action would be taken.
