dc.description.abstractLa imaginación es trascendental en el pensamiento de Julián Marías, toda su obra consiste en una constante elaboración sobre la realidad. El proyecto de cada persona se interpone entre esa realidad y su “yo”. La propia persona es un proyecto permanente, futurizo, que se realiza mediante la imaginación en colaboración con los demás, por tanto, la persona se caracteriza por su alto grado de irrealidad, de aventura, de imaginación, consecuentemente, la libertad se convierte, para Marías, en el escenario de la vida. La persona es menesterosa, necesitada, su vida es radicalmente insegura, de ahí que en cada vida se hace necesario encontrar otras vidas. La vida de cada uno acontece en forma de convivencia, la justicia se transforma así en exigencia de justicia social. Los derechos humanos aparecen en esta perspectiva como prolongación de la persona en sus dos estructuras, la analítica o universal y la empírica o biográfica.es
dc.description.abstractImagination is crucial in Julian Marías’s theory. His whole work consists of a constant elaboration on reality. Each person’s project comes between reality and the “self”. The individual is a continuous futurition project, which is expressed through imagination in cooperation with others. Therefore, each person is characterised by a high degree of unreality, adventure and imagination, so freedom becomes for Marías the stage for life. Individuals are helpless, needy, their lives are drastically unsafe and so, it is necessary to find other lives within each single one. Every individual life occurs within the framework of coexistence. So, justice becomes a claim for social justice. Under that scope, human rights emerge as an extension of the person in both the analytical or universal structure, as well as the empirical or biographical structure.en
