dc.description.abstractLa idea que los humanos tenemos de nosotros mismos ha ido cambiando de forma continua, debido a la acumulación de conocimientos que nos aportan las diferentes áreas del saber, sobre todo las ciencias. Frente a quienes defienden que los avances científicos están suponiendo un desmoronamiento del modelo antropológico cristiano, este trabajo defiende que los enfrentamientos y discrepancias no se dan tanto entre las ciencias y la teología cristiana, sino entre interpretaciones filosóficas reduccionistas de los datos científicos y las afirmaciones centrales del ideal cristiano del ser humano. Así, más que darse un conflicto irresoluble entre ciencia y fe, entre ellas se da un diálogo fructífero, que las purifica y enriquece.es
dc.description.abstractThe idea that we humans have of ourselves has changed constantly over time due to the build-up of knowledge provided by the different realms of knowledge, particularly the sciences. While there are those who argue that scientific advances are leading to a breakdown of the Christian anthropological model, this paper advocates that the clashes and discrepancies are not so much between the sciences and Christian theology, but between reductionist philosophical interpretations of scientific data and the core statements of the Christian ideal of the human being. Thus, instead of there being an irreconcilable conflict between science and faith, there is a fruitful dialogue between them, which both purifies and enriches them. en
