El fomento de la participación cultural ciudadana a partir de la colaboración de organizaciones educativas y culturales: el caso universidad de Deusto-ABAO

Resumen
El estrecho vínculo existente entre cultura y formación hace que la colaboración entre instituciones educativas y entidades culturales se perfile como una estrategia interesante para fomentar la participación cultural de los ciudadanos. Así como este tipo de alianzas es habitual cuando se trata de llegar al público joven, no ocurre lo mismo con el público adulto. El trabajo que aquí presentamos profundiza en este aspecto y resulta innovador, dada la escasa existencia en España de este tipo de programas conjuntos orientados al público adulto y, por tanto, de investigación realizada en torno a ellos. Tras un repaso de la literatura científica sobre el tema objeto de estudio, investigaremos el caso concreto de la colaboración entre la Universidad de Deusto y ABAOOLBE2, a partir del análisis de diez entrevistas en profundidad. Concluiremos el artículo con una serie de reflexiones acerca del tema trabajado, así como apuntando posibles líneas de investigación futuras.
The close link between culture and education provides potential for collaboration between educational institutions and cultural organizations. The inter-relatedness of these societal pillars provides a platform from which to strategically promote the cultural participation of citizens. While such initiatives are beneficial when it comes to reaching young audiences, they are less likely to impact the adult population. In this paper we explore this aspect of educational and cultural partnerships. This study’s novelty arises from the contribution it makes to the body of knowledge; to date there has been insufficient research on this topic given the limited existence of such joint programs aimed at adults in Spain.. After a review of the scientific literature, our research will focus on the collaboration between the University of Deusto and ABAO-OLBE. A qualitative research approach will be engaged through the analysis of in-depth interviews with ten participating students. We conclude the article with a series of reflections on the topic under examination as well as pointing out possible lines for future research.
