Resumen
El capital de las cooperativas es un factor instrumental y no de finalidad única y primordial, pero sí necesario. Este capital se constituye a través del tercer principio cooperativo de «Participación económica del socio», conforme al que todos los miembros contribuyen de manera equitativa y lo controlan de manera democrática. En este trabajo expondremos el régimen jurídico de dicho principio, abordando cuestiones tan importantes como la forma de aportarlo y los derechos que conlleva.
The capital of the cooperatives is an instrumental factor and not a primordial purpose, but it is necessary. This capital is achieved through the third cooperative principle of «Economic participation of the members», according to which all members contribute in an equitable way and control it democratically. In this paper we will explain the legal regime of this principle, addressing important issues, such as how to contribute and the rights that entails.
