dc.description.abstractEste artículo se centra en los maridos vascos que solicitaron el divorcio durante la Edad Moderna. En la introducción se analizará en qué consistió el divorcio en los siglos XVII y XVIII, y qué motivó las solicitudes de los esposos. También se estudiará el perfil familiar y profesional de los cónyuges, así como el proceso de concesión del divorcio. La investigación se basa en los fondos diocesanos de Calahorra y Pamplona. Los resultados principales de la investigación reflejan diferencias entre los procesos iniciados por hombres y por mujeres, tanto en la motivación como en la obtención del divorcio.es
dc.description.abstractThis paper focuses on Basque husbands who filed for divorce in the modern period. The introduction analyses what divorce consisted of in the seventeenth and eighteenth centuries and what motivated the spouses' requests. The family and professional profiles of the spouses are also examined, as is the process of granting divorce. The research is based on the diocesan collections of Calahorra and Pamplona. The main results of the research reflect the differences between the processes initiated by men and women, both in terms of motivation and in terms of obtaining the divorce.en
