dc.description.abstractCuando el fenómeno del sinhogarismo se reduce a las personas que duermen en la calle o que viven en recursos residenciales, la problemática de las mujeres sinhogar se vuelve invisible. El presente estudio relaciona la tipología ETHOS (Tipología Europea del Sinhogarismo y la exclusión residencial) y la mirada feminista, en su pretensión de ampliar esa visión reduccionista y entender cómo el patriarcado ha configurado los contextos en los que produce el sinhogarismo de las mujeres. Se desarrolla una herramienta con perspectiva de género que trata de operativizar las categorías de vivienda insegura y vivienda inadecuada, teniendo en cuenta indicadores de la dimensiones legal, física y social de la exclusión residencial. A partir de una investigación exploratoria, se analizan las respuestas de 155 mujeres que acuden a un recurso específico para mujeres en situación de exclusión social. Se ejecutan análisis descriptivos, correlacionales y diferencias de medias. Los hallazgos muestran las estrategias características que ponen en marcha las mujeres en exclusión social grave, por qué en los recuentos de personas sin hogar hay menos presencia femenina y la importancia de poner más hincapié en la dimensión social a la hora de estudiar la exclusión residencial de las mujeres.es
dc.description.abstractWhen the phenomenon of homelessness is reduced to people sleeping on the streets or living in residential resources, the problem of homeless women becomes invisible. This study relates the ETHOS typology (European Typology of Homelessness and Residential Exclusion) and the feminist perspective in its attempt to broaden this reductionist vision and to understand how patriarchy has shaped the contexts in which women's homelessness occurs. A gendered tool is developed that attempts to operationalise the categories of insecure housing and inadequate housing, taking into account indicators of the legal, physical and social dimensions of residential exclusion. Based on exploratory research, the responses of 155 women attending a specific resource for women in a situation of social exclusion are analysed. Descriptive and correlational analyses and mean differences are carried out. The findings show the characteristic strategies implemented by women in severe social exclusion, why there is less female presence in the homeless counts and the importance of placing more emphasis on the psychosocial dimension when studying women's residential exclusion.en
