dc.description.abstractLas personas con discapacidad intelectual y con capacidad intelectual límite presentan altos índices de pobreza y mayores dificultades de incorporación al ámbito laboral que el resto del colectivo de personas con discapacidad. La necesidad de su inclusión en el ámbito laboral no se traduce solo en términos económicos sino también en la mejora de otros aspectos como la identidad y la autoestima. Hoy en día, ni la negociación colectiva ni la cultura empresarial a través de la Responsabilidad Social ha considerado prioritario el tratamiento de la diversidad que presentan las personas trabajadoras con discapacidad, y menos aún con discapacidad intelectual. En este artículo se analizarán los retos y dificultades que presentan tanto las personas con discapacidad intelectual como con capacidad intelectual límite a fin de dar un paso más hacia la ansiada inserción laboral plena, y se harán algunas propuestas políticas y legislativas para intentar paliar y minimizar la situación actual.es
dc.description.abstractPeople with intellectual disabilities and people with borderline intellectual abilities have high poverty rates and greater difficulties in joining the workforce than the rest of the collective of people with disabilities. The need for their inclusion in the labour market is not only translated into economic terms but also into the improvement of other aspects such as identity and self-esteem. Nowadays, neither collective bargaining nor the business culture through the Corporate Social Responsibility has considered as a priority the treatment of the diversity presented by disabled workers, and even less with intellectual disabilities. This article will analyse the challenges and difficulties that both, people with intellectual disabilities and people with borderline intellectual abilities, have to face in order to take a step forward into the desired full integration into the labour market, and will make some political and legislative proposals to try to alleviate and minimize the current situation.en
