Resumen
Background The physiology of bone marrow adipose tissue during pregnancy and lactation remains poorly understood. Case presentation In this xploratory single-subject magnetic resonance imaging study, we investigated the intensity of skull bone marrow before, during and after pregnancy of a 38-year-old primiparous woman. Conclusion We observed a curvilinear pattern of change. These preliminary findings require validation using quantitative fat imaging in larger cohorts and highlight the need for further research into maternal bone health during pregnancy and lactation
