El objetivo de este artículo es conocer, mediante el análisis de una muestra de informaciones y entrevistas publicadas en El Mundo, El Diario Vasco y en sus suplementos, a través de qué personas y temas, la realidad de las mujeres mayores está presente en los discursos difundidos por la prensa, y si esa presencia mediática de algún modo refleja su realidad y la redefinición en positivo sobre el envejecimiento femenino que se va percibiendo en la sociedad actual.ln recent decades we have seen that older women's ageing experience is experiencing changes focused on a more active ageing and the enhancement of values, attitudes and roles that break with negative stereotypes associated with this age group for many years.
